Recall Alert: Spinach May Contain Salmonella


Here we go again.
This time we turn our attention to SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Over 1,700 cartons of spinach sold this month in stores across the country, including Florida, have been recalled.
The California Department of Health said Friday that Ippolito International was recalling 1,715 cartons of spinach after tests showed it may contain salmonella.
The bulk of cartons were packed under the “Queen Victoria” brand in Florida, 11 other states and three Canadian provinces; and the “Tubby” brand on 200 cartons sold in California and New York.
