McDonald's Will Open Inside The Louvre

There are just some things you don't think will ever happen and McDonald's planning to open a restaurant inside France's great temple of culture, the Louvre museum is one of them.
But it's true, the restaurant will open next month in the underground shopping plaza under the glass pyramid in the museum courtyard.
Workers at the museum were aghast, quoting an art historian just thinking about "the very unpleasant odors" that will drift through the temple of art.
A Louvre spokesman said that the McDonald's franchise owner "has taken the utmost care in ensuring the quality of the project, both in culinary and esthetic terms."
Perhaps we'll see Mona-Lisa- McMuffin's.

Close your eyes and envision museum-goers munching on fries while admiring the work of
Da Vinci or Michelangelo.
