PETA and The Lobster Zone


PETA is upset over the "Lobster Zone."
They call it a cruel "game" that allows customers to choose a lobster out of a machine using a joystick-controlled crane.
After the lobster is caught, it's cooked and eaten.


PETA says, "But like all animals, lobsters can feel pain, and they suffer when they are injured, cut, or boiled alive."

PETA is horrified that lobsters are languishing in the Lobster Zone tank, "trying to flee as they were repeatedly chased by the metal claw."

PETA also wants to remind us that "living beings must not be treated as if they were cheap boardwalk-game trinkets" and to implore these establishments to remove this cruel contraption from the premises.

We've never used a Lobster Zone machine but we've cooked and eaten plenty of lobster and for those of you who want to see a more traditional way, here you go:
