19th Century Creole Hearth Cooking Class


We have always been fascinated with hearth cooking and culinary historian Elizabeth Pearce offers a hands-on 19th-century Creole Cooking Class in the French Quarter.

It's held, Mondays, 9:30 a.m.- 2 p.m. (or by appointment with four people.) Includes breakfast, lunch with wine, and a special tour of the home focusing on dining and entertaining

This all takes place at he restored outdoor open-hearth kitchen at Hermann-Grima Historic House, 820 St. Louis St. New Orleans

Cost: $85 ($75 for members). Locals whose guests participate may join the lunch for $45
