Labor unions have joined the boycott aimed at Whole Foods Market, up in arms over CEO John Mackey’s criticism of President Barack Obama’s health care plan.The United Food and Commercial Workers Union and CtW Investment Group, an arm of several unions including the Service Employees International Union, are part of the boycott effort and say Mackey should be kicked out as CEO of Whole Foods.
They also are pushing for the Bravo cable network, owned by NBC Universal-General Electric, to drop Whole Foods as the sponsor of its popular “Top Chef” show.
They want CEO John Mackey fired for voicing his opinion or could have something to do with unionizing efforts?
They probably don't even know why they are boycotting the chain, except that's it's non-union.
