MICHELLE OBAMA furious with PAULA DEEN

Michele Obama is livid that Paula Deen is saying that the first lady pigs out on fattening foods.

As Deen was promoting her new book, “Paula Deen’s Southern Cooking bible, she said that Michelle stuffed herself on greasy french fries, fatty hot chicken wings and sugary deep-fried Snickers bars!

Apparently, “Michelle’s spitting mad,” a source said.
“She thinks Paula is trying to smear her and her family just as the 2012 presidential election race swings into gear.”

The bad blood may have began before Barack Obama was elected president in 2008, when Michelle made an appearance on Deen’s “Paula’s Party” show where we learned that fried shrimp was her family’s favorite meal.

Then in an interview after filming the program, Paula said Michelle would be serving high-fat, greasy and sugary foods in the White House if Obama won the election!

“She’s no different than the rest of us,” Paula said about Michelle in a recent interview.

Paula also said: “She probably ate more than any other guest I ever had on the show! She kept eating even during commercials. Know what (the Obamas’) favorite foods are? Hot wings. Y’know – those kinds of foods that aren’t necessarily top-of-the-list healthy foods.”
“Michelle now deeply regrets ever being on Paula’s show,” said the source. “There are a lot of digs she would have been able to brush off, but portraying her as a high-calorie gorger during her crusade for healthy eating is crossing the line.”

Paula Deen says, Michelle Obama likes fried food

When Paula Deen and Michelle Obama got together it became clear, the two women had a lot in common when it came to food.

"Well, I did a show with Michelle and I just loved being with her," Deen said. "She probably ate more than any other guest I've ever had on the show —she kept eating even during commercials."
Deen also said, "You know what their favorite foods are — it's hot wings, you know, those kinds of foods that are not necessarily top-of-the-list healthy foods, so she's no different than the rest of us," Deen said. "We love those kinds of foods, we just know that we can't eat them everyday."

Speak for yourself Paula, yes we can.

"She eats poorly," that seems to be the consensus by those who have seen her in action.

At the White House Dossier, Michelle’s has been reported to overeat and overeat and serve unhealthy food to guests again and again, while simultaneously telling others how to eat.

Food writer Marian Burros, working for POLITICO, offers a few samples of Michele's desserts, taken directly from the Burros article.

BOURDAIN & DEEN Let the battle begin

Let the battle begin...
Chefs Paula Deen and Anthony Bourdain haven't met, but that didn't stop Bourdain from saying,
"The worst, most dangerous person to America is clearly Paula Deen, She revels in unholy connections with evil corporations and she's proud of the fact that her food is ... bad for you. ... Plus, her food sucks."

Later he clarified his remarks on Twitter stating, "my comment was actually 'worst, most dangerous to America cook on [Food Network]."

Butter fan Deen had addressed Bourdain's Food Network attack Thursday as well, telling Page Six, "You know, not everybody can afford to pay $58 for prime rib or $650 for a bottle of wine. My friends and I cook for regular families who worry about feeding their kids and paying the bills."

Paula Deen said that she "was actually kinda shocked, considering I have never met Anthony. I was really shocked that such harsh words could be used."
"I don't know if it was a publicity thing or if someone had just peed in his bowl of cereal that morning and he was mad."

Paula shouldn't feel alone however, you may remember Anthony Bourdain has also trashed other Food Network stars Guy Fieri, Sandra Lee and Rachael Ray.
Here's a sample: Regarding Rachel Ray, (“Does she even cook anymore?”), Sandra Lee (“I hate her works on this planet, but she is not someone to be dismissed, clearly.”), and Guy Fieri (“I look at Guy and I just think, ‘Jesus, I’m glad that’s not me’”).

Deen's has responded saying, He’s moody and not charitable enough. “My good friends Rachael, Guy and Sandra are the most generous charitable folks I know,” today. “They give so much of their time and money to help the food deprived, sick children and abandoned animals. I have no idea what Anthony has done to contribute besides being irritable.”

After all the hoopla Bourdain says,"Resolved: Next time I'm asked [for the millionth time] who the worst cooks on Food Network are, I'll just shut up," he said Wednesday on Twitter. "Who cares?"

Paula Deen Receives an Unexpected Serving of Ham

Paula Deen received an unexpected serving of ham — in her face. It all happened as she was helping unload 25,000 pounds of donated meat for an Atlanta food bank when someone threw one of the hams like a football and accidentally hit her in the face.
Deen said, "I thought it busted my lip, but it didn't." "I'm OK. It just knocked me for a little bit."
She says she was unloading hams when she tossed one to a man, who then said "Back at 'ya." Thinking he meant it only as a sentiment, she turned around to get another ham when one of the hams came flying at her.
Later, she tweeted: "I haven't met the ham that could stop me yet!"

Paula Deen on the View

Paula Deen's visit to The View to promote her cookbook for school kids was priceless. Paula may wear thin (pardon that expression) but she did well on the view.
The book is, Paula Deen's Cookbook for the Lunch-Box Set.   The best thing was watching these ladies just having fun with a table full of food, just look at their plates.  But it was Barbara Walters who looked like that horrible relative nobody likes — just watch her, displaying her displeasure with the thought of having to actually speak to Paula.
It bcomes funny, Barbara with all her superiority, says with great disdain,
"Let me act like your mother... This is a cookbook for kids. Obesity is the number one problem for kids today. Everything you have here is enormously fattening. You tell kids to have cheesecake for breakfast, you tell them to have chocolate cake and meatloaf for lunch and french fries... Doesn't it bother you that you're adding to it?"

Paula Deen's Cast Iron Cookware Recall

In March 2008, Paula Deen said she was about to go on the air (QVC) to present her new cast iron cookware. That cookware she promised would have, "a little extra stability..." a high-quality cookware that will stand the test of time.

A few weeks ago, customers who had bought three of Ms. Deen’s cast iron pans received letters from QVC, informing them that the pans were being recalled because they can crack or shatter during heating. So much for extra stability, high quality and the test of time.

QVC sent recall letters to people who had purchased the pans. Consumers who bought any of the three items will get a refund; all other Paula Deen cast iron products are “safe for use.” Finally, she wrote, “Paula Deen is aware of the situation and completely supportive of the actions being taken.”
For those of you who purchased The Paula Deen cast iron pansfrom QVC, your lucky item numbers are k14984, k11970, and k135024
