New Orleans is our second home and as we get closer to Fat Tuesday our tour of this food mecca continues.

Deanie's Seafood Restaurant is where the Voodoo Kitchen eats seafood when we are in New Orleans.
(and we are there all the time)
This place has been serving food since 1961.
See the photo below? We have attempted the the giant seafood platter several times, it's loaded with fried oysters, shrimp, catfish, soft-shell crabs, and crawfish balls, and we have never been able to finish it.

The boiled seafood is New Orleans' best.
If you love great tasting seafood, this is the place to go!

Okay, we finally got around to watch the Travel Channel's
Man V Food, and while it's not a food show in the traditional sense, it's a lot of fun.

The show is hosted by actor and food enthusiast Adam Richman who is entertaining and engaging.
