In the GQ interview, Mr Cain was asked which flavour would best suit his 2012 GOP rivals.
While we find the question strange, Herman Cain decided to answer it, and here's his response:
He said Mitt Romney would be ‘plain vanilla’
Rick Perry is ‘rocky road’
and Michele Bachmann as 'tutti frutti'
In the interview, Mr Cain, the former chief executive of Godfather’s Pizza, also said that the more toppings a man has on his pizza, the more masculine he is.
He branded those who skip the meat and just have vegetables on their slice ‘sissies’.
But he said: ‘The more toppings a man has on his pizza, I believe the more manly he is… Because the more manly man is not afraid of abundance.
‘A manly man don’t want it piled high with vegetables! He would call that a sissy pizza… I love the sausage, the mushrooms. Love it.’
