Our story begins as a Houston woman has this fight with her former common-law husband, and things start getting crazy.
Police say the husband reported that the woman took the goldfish from his apartment.
Apparently, this wacky couple argued earlier about some jewelry the man had given her, but took back, and she wanted the jewelry returned. About this time all hell breaks lose and she decides it's time to start frying up the goldfish.
The seven goldfish were purchased together by the couple during their happier times.
When officers showed up at the woman's home they found four fried goldfish on a plate.
The woman said she already ate the other three.
