Mauricio from central Florida stabbed his friend to death and then drank his blood.
Lopez stabbed Mauricio Mendez Lopez o death because he was having an affair with his sister-in-law, Mariella Mendez, Lopez is the uncle of Mendez and Cruz's wife.
The two men had an argument in which Lopez struck Cruz in the face with one of those exercise dumb bells. He then said he would kill them both unless the relationship ended, then he left the house.
The more Lopez thought about the angrier he became, when he returned later he stabbed Cruz to death. Mariella Mendez told police Lopez left with a plastic cup of blood in his hand.
She said he drank from the cup in a strange ritual from their native Mexico.
Lopez was taken into custody with no bond.
